Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a physician's referral or prescription to come to physical therapy?
A prescription or referral is not required to attend physical therapy at our clinic, unless you have Medicare. If Medicare is your primary insurance, we will work with you to contact your doctor to get a referral though. Please call us to make an appointment or inquire about how we can help you. Immediate versus delayed treatment can be the difference between an acute injury and a chronic injury that can last for many years.
Please do not wait to be seen! We typically have appointments available within 24 hours of inquiry.
Whether you've decided you no longer want to deal with pain or are tired of waiting for it to go away, we encourage you to call us. We can be difference maker in helping you alleviate your pain and get you back to living your life to the fullest.

How long will I need to attend physical therapy for?
It's very difficult to predict the exact number of sessions you will need since every treatment plan is unique. This can be better determined after your initial evaluation and will be discussed with you by your PT. If you're unsure if physical therapy can help address your symptoms, call to schedule your FREE Diagnostic Session so we can identify why you're having pain and how we can help. Don't worry, if we aren't the right fit for you, we will get you the help you need through our referral network!
What's the first visit like? Will I have homework or exercises to do?
Each patient is treated as an individual, with your diagnostic session addressing your whole body. It's important for us to solve the issue, not just make you feel better temporarily.
Once the root cause is identified, you'll be provided with specific movements that will treat your impairments at home. Every patient is educated on how to be in control of their symptoms. We encouraged self-treatment techniques, modified activity management, and corrective exercises to get your the fastest results possible. It is our goal to make your "homework" manageable to about 10 minutes of exercise each day. Each patient is educated about movement approaches that will keep you healthy and active for years to come!
